Lazy Daisy Fest Draws Big Crowd

The 2016 Lazy Daisy Festival that takes place annually at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park showed why it is always one of the best festivals of the year! This year turned out to be one of the biggest ones yet! The weather turned out to be perfect and the music was even better. Festival attendee and Quarry Rat Danny Valvoda told us, "there is nothing better then walking around the Quarry with beautiful faces, great friends and wonderful music in the air. I look forward to this festival every year!"

Electric Love Machine started the festival off with a great set that got the crowd hyped. Then Vibe & Direct headlined the night for their first time ever at the Ledges and brought the house down! Their eclectic jams got the whole crowd groovin' and just like that the weekend was on its way to being unforgettable.

The next day was perfect for a relaxing swim in the Quarry as the Ice-Cream Truckers and Wanyama played you off into another reality. As the afternoon rolled in Diesel Dog took the stage showing us why they are always our favorite Canadian act! Then came the time for the festival hosts to take the stage. The JiMiller Band put on a show that we will soon not forget, The band was joined by Jim Miller's son and Vibe & Direct's own Michael Miller, which made the night even more special. Special guests were plenty as the night grew on and the sounds of the Grateful Dead echoed throughout the forest making people hope that the night would never end. No one wanted to leave the stage as the band played on and on turning the crowd into a frenzy! The JMB proved why they are a favorite act in Cleveland and why they always host one of the best festivals in Ohio.

The Night ended at the main stage but the party did not. If you wandered far enough in to the woods you were greeted with members of Wanyama and Vibe & Direct jamming until the sun came up!

This years Lazy Daisy drew a crowd from all over, but they all had the same thing in common. Everyone was friendly and full of love. You could not beat the vibes and music that went down at this years Lazy Daisy, and I for one cannot wait for next years!
